Our Story
Thompson Properties started when Maria Thompson got frustrated with her own home-buying experience. She'd worked in hospitality for years and realized real estate could use the same attention to detail and customer service. So in 2011, she opened a small office on Rua da Paz. Just her and one other agent at first. The phone didn't ring much those early days. But the clients who came back—they told their friends. By 2015, we'd opened our second office. Today we cover the entire region with a team that actually knows these communities. Still family-run. Still focused on doing right by people.
